Velma’s Dream

Velma’s Dream is an important initiative to aid poor Christian families in the Holy Land. The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) of Canada and CNEWA are working together to bring Velma’s Dream to life.
The CWL has fully funded a project for disadvantaged youth at Infant Welfare Center in Jerusalem. Now, we are raising funds for a second project at the Shepherd’s Field Hospital near Bethlehem. The hospital will help provide affordable health care for pregnant women and newborn babies. See project details to the right.
Poor women and children are among the most vulnerable. Let us care for them. We invite Catholic Women’s League members and the public at large to join with CNEWA in this initiative by donating today.
